Social Work Student Association
Social Work Student Association is a place for all students interested in social justice to find community. We seek to help social work and social justice students grow professionally as well as promote the Carthage social work major! Alongside creating a place for learners, we want to give back to our community. Through discussing current news events and collaborating with other service-based organizations, we increase our awareness of social issues and involvement in creating solutions. Email us!
United Women of Color
United Women of Color provides leadership opportunities, hosts activities to enrich its members socially and academically, strengthens the image of minority women in the Carthage community, and works to build respect and tolerance between all students. Membership is open to all students.
Alpha Mu Gamma
Alpha Mu Gamma, the national honorary foreign language fraternity, aims to celebrate the cultural differences of our global society and to honor those who have excelled academically in foreign languages. The group sponsors campus educational and social events.
Black Student Union
BSU aims to provide leadership opportunities for its members, sponsor activities that furnish social and academic enrichment, work towards building respect and tolerance between all races, and foster a unified bond between all students. The group is open to all students.
