Major(s)

Photography, Public Relations

Emily Strand ’28 is a double major in photography and public relations at Carthage, drawn to the College’s close-knit community and the opportunity to pursue both passions side by side. She has quickly found her place on campus, supported by faculty advisors and professors who help guide her academic path while bringing her courses to life. Outside the classroom, Emily values the quiet study spots along the lake and the strong friendships she’s built. Looking ahead, she hopes to use the skills she is gaining in college to make an impact working for a labor union.
