Jon Mrowiec
Professor Jon Mrowiec, CPA earned his B.S. in Marketing from Millikin University before embarking on a 25-year career as an options trader at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Seeking to broaden his expertise, he went on to earn an MBA from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
His passion for accounting led him to complete the coursework at the College of Lake County required to sit for the CPA exam, and he officially became a licensed CPA in 2022. Prof. Mrowiec further deepened his academic background by earning a M.S. in Accounting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a M.S. in Finance from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb.
