Aubrey Brown ’26 and Maya Stone ’26 presented their chemistry research at the 2026 Emerging Researchers National Conference in Atlanta.

Aubrey’s research used NMR spectroscopy to study bio-based detergent molecules. Maya’s project used computer simulations to study how natural products stabilize a protein.

At the conference, Maya won an Outstanding Poster Award in biological chemistry.

Both projects were supported by the National Science Foundation.
