星空传媒 and Michigan Technological University (Michigan Tech) expanded an existing partnership through the launch of the Graduate Education Fellowship Program.

The Graduate Education Fellowship Program provides Carthage students and alumni across all disciplines with the financial resources to earn an advanced degree from Michigan Tech. Designed with working professionals in mind, the program offers flexible pathways to and that can be completed either on Michigan Tech鈥檚 campus in Houghton, Michigan or 100% online.

This fellowship program builds upon our existing Accelerated Master鈥檚 Program, providing students with more options to extend their Carthage studies to graduate school.

鈥淭hese offerings provide our students with specialized options for graduation or future career pivots,鈥 says Dean Robert Nagel. 鈥淭his partnership underscores the immense value of a Carthage degree as a foundation for both advanced study and lifelong career success.鈥

A Carthage degree serves as the perfect foundation for the world-class education and professional outcomes found at Michigan Tech. Benefits of the new fellowship program include:

  • Direct Financial Support: Eligible participants may receive up to $8,500 per academic year in fellowship support, applied directly toward tuition.
  • Sustained Funding: Support can be available for up to four years, providing long-term stability for those balancing work and study.
  • Capacity: Up to 20 Carthage participants may be in the program at any given time.
  • Full Integration: Fellows are fully admitted Michigan Tech graduate students with access to all academic advising, campus resources, and student support services.

At Carthage, the fellowship program will be coordinated through a partnership with the Division of Natural and Social Sciences (NSS) and The Aspire Program.
