The Engineering Department is excited to announce that Murat Dinç, associate professor of engineering, has been selected as a for the 2025-26 cohort by Engineering Unleashed.

Murat D.J. Dinç The Engineering Unleashed community catalysts are a group of engineering educators dedicated to promoting the entrepreneurial mindset (EM) in engineering education. Their work includes outreach and engagement, resource creation, and facilitating faculty discussions nationally. Prof. Dinç joins 12 peers from The Ohio State University, Colorado School of Mines, Carnegie Mellon University, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, and others. 

Prof. Dinç’s selection demonstrates a dedication to transforming engineering education through the entrepreneurial mindset. Of his appointment, Prof. Dinç states:

“Serving as a community catalyst at KEEN for ǿմý is a privilege. This experience is invaluable for developing the leadership skills necessary to actively promote collaboration, inclusion, an entrepreneurial mindset, and shared values for our students and community.”

The one-year Community Catalyst Program is supported by the Kern Entrepreneurial Engineering Network (KEEN). Prof. Dinç, who joined the Carthage faculty in fall 2025, is committed to equipping students to “adapt, thrive, and lead in a fast-changing world.”
