Math students win math game show and present research at regional conference
Since 1990, faculty and students from the Math Department have attended the Pi Mu Epsilon Undergraduate Mathematics Conference at St. Norbert College. Carthage is home to the Wisconsin Epsilon chapter of Pi Mu Epsilon, the largest national undergraduate mathematics honorary.
The remainder of the two-day conference was filled with presentations, including student talks and a guest plenary speaker, with an audience of students and faculty from regional schools. This year, Carthage students Andy Del Real ’26, Dee Drain-Major ’26s, and Alan Kwak ’26 gave well-received presentations focused on their math senior thesis research.
Please congratulate these students for their excellent work!
