Medical Humanities Program Presents ‘Three Toxic Myths About Rest…and Their Antidotes’ Friday
Benita Jackson, professor of psychology at Smith College, will present “Three Toxic Myths About Rest…and Their Antidotes” from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, April 12, in the Niemann Media Theater.
Her applied work includes health coaching, with multiple certifications around how we manage and increase vitality. Fittingly, she is Smith College’s inaugural Faculty Wellness Fellow. She founded a public psychology project called Resting to Rise, which supports exhausted, heart-centered leaders becoming revitalized as key to social transformation.
