Join the English Players and sign up to perform scenes from Shakespeare plays Thursday
Join the English Players from 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 8, in Lentz Hall 319 to learn our plans for the spring and to sign up to perform scenes from Shakespeare’s plays.
There are no auditions, and all are welcome to join.
During the meeting, we will begin to choose and cast scenes. Everyone who wants to participate will receive a role or roles. Rehearsals will be at times agreed to by the players in each scene. A performance of the scenes will take place in late April, around Shakespeare’s birthday.
The English Players is a group of amateur Shakespearians open to all members of the Carthage community. Please write to Professor Rick Meier (rmeier@carthage.edu) if you have questions or cannot attend the meeting but wish to participate in the English Players.
