Join English Players and perform scenes from ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ this spring
Join the English Players in performing scenes from “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” this spring. There are no auditions, and all are welcome to join.
We will read the scenes and begin the casting process from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, March 1, in the Niemann Media Theater (Hedberg Library 159). Everyone who wants to participate will receive a role(s).
Rehearsals will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesdays, in the Niemann Media Theater, and for an hour or two on weekends at times agreed to by the members.
The performance of the scenes will take place in late April, around Shakespeare’s birthday.
The English Players is a group of amateur Shakespearians open to all members of the Carthage community. Please send an email to Professor Rick Meier at rmeier@carthage.edu, if you have questions or cannot attend the first rehearsal but wish to participate in the English Players.
